Cartier watch batteries
How long does it take to change the battery for a Cartier?
We have batteries fitted with reseal and pressure test for Cartier watches so they are ready to collect in 30 minutes.
How long will the battery last after fitting in my Cartier and is it guaranteed?
The battery life is determined by 3 factors: the size/capacity of the cell, the circuit of the Cartier using it and the condition of the movement. What we guarantee is that even if your Cartier watch is made to use the smallest size cell, it will get a minimum of 18 months before the next replacement. This is from our careful selection of the battery brand we use for Cartier and other watches, and our battery fitting proficiency which allows the greatest retaining of energy in the cell for use by the circuit.
Will my Cartier still be watertight afterwards?
Yes, we pressure test Cartier watches to all depth ratings and we reseal them first to ensure it’s a pass. We use equipment accredited by Cartier in our repairs so you can have peace of mind your watch repair is to the manufacturers’ standard. We are conveniently located for quick turnarounds for those local to Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire and prices are far below the cost of sending away.
Should I get my Cartier serviced instead?
This depends on which service you’re after; if the word is your Cartier is due a partial service when the battery is low, then that is advised and that is actually the service we provide with every battery, reseal and pressure test. If a full service is required then we do provide these, though we would first determine this after assessing additional issues with your Cartier watch’s movement. By putting your Cartier to us for its full service, you can still benefit from our quick turnaround time as they are carried out on site and often same day.
