Omega watch batteries
How long does it take to change the battery for an Omega?
We provide battery, reseal and pressure tests for Omega watches so to have them back on your wrist in 30 minutes.
How long will the battery last after fitting in my Omega and is it guaranteed?
The life of the cell (battery) varies with the size/capacity, the circuit of the Omega using it and the condition of the movement. What we guarantee is that, for even the smallest battery in the least efficient circuit, the cell in your Omega will last at least 18 months before needing the next replacement. This is down to our careful selection of the battery brand we use for Omega and other watches, and the proficiency of our battery fitting which allows the greatest retaining of energy in the cell for use by the circuit.
Will my Omega still be watertight afterwards?
Yes, we pressure test Omega watches to all water resistance ratings and we reseal it first to ensure it passes. We use equipment accredited by Omega in our repairs to guarantee compliance and your peace of mind. Our workshop local to Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire is conveniently located for quick turnarounds and prices are far below the cost of sending away.
Should I get my Omega serviced instead?
This depends on which service you’re after; if the advice you’ve seen is your Omega is due a partial service when the battery is low, then that is advised and that is actually the service we provide with every battery, reseal and pressure test. If it’s a full service that you’re after then we do provide these, though we would first determine this after assessing further issues with your Omega watch’s movement. Our Omega full services are carried out on site and often same day so you can still benefit from our quick turnaround time.
